America’s Political Pulse

This is a weekly tracking poll. For each week you can review major findings, explore over-time trends or download topline results. Full question wordings are available at the bottom of this page.

Methods note: Our work on rare attitudes (support for political violence and democratic norms violations) shows that these measures are inflated by disengaged respondents (people taking surveys who aren’t paying attention and randomly click). We subset to remove disengaged respondents for party-level estimates. We are working to provide adjusted estimates that account for any potential demographic differences between engaged and disengaged respondents.
